This five-week course offers students a chance to explore the poetry and prose of famous authors for the purpose of using these works as stepping stones for their own creative writing.

Students will work to complete 5 unique pieces of writing and leave with a framework to support independent creative writing pursuits.

Authors to be studied include Kooser, Hinton, Hughes, Collins, and more.
